Let me keep this short and sweet. This is a method you can use to
get hundreds of high PR backlinks from digg with very little risk of
hurting your website's rep. It involves very old popular digg articles,
and a throw-away digg acount.
- Go to digg.com and register an account. Don't risk getting your main account banned for spamming.
- Go to the digg front page and click on the '365 days' link to view popular articles from the previous year.
- The older the article, the more potential pr. The less likely you are to get reported for spamming, and yea that's pretty much it.
- So go through these old digg articles and comment on them, linking back to your website.
- After you comment, it would be wise to use a service like ping-o-matic.com or pingler to alert the search engines and other websites that the page has been updated. (It makes your link more valuable in less time).
Cool Stuff:
- Last time I heard digg was dofollow, so these links should actually be pretty useful to you!
- You can apply this same method to other social networking sites like digg.
- It's just like commenting on dofollow blogs except you don't have to wait for the blog author to approve your comments and usually digg pages have higher pr!

Does this really work? I would be pretty surprised. Plus, I doubt the folks at Digg would appreciate it. That's basically like doing the same thing at Hub Pages or some other place people put a lot of hard work into.
